Innovation Procurement Conference

Date
19–20. MAR 2024

Location

Brussels, Belgium

Closed for registration

On the occasion of the International Conference on Innovation Procurement, on 19 and 20 March 2024 in Brussels, the BRINC project is organizing a workshop to bring together public procurers from across Europe to exchange experiences on how public procurement of innovation can accelerate the circular economy.

The workshop will highlight the importance of changing the mindset of organizations to promote the adoption of circular and innovative practices.

Innovation procurement has been on the European agenda for a while. And rightly so! It is a powerful instrument to stimulate innovation and solutions to societal problems.

The Programme for Innovation Procurement (PIP) is organizing an international conference on 19 and 20 March 2024 in Tour & Taxis, Brussels. The conference is organized closely with the European Commission and the European Innovation Council. The conference will allow public procurers, policymakers, and companies from Belgium and abroad to exchange experiences on the theory and practice of innovation procurement.

In addition, the organizations leading the two BRINC project cases (on single-use sanitary waste and diaper reuse) will present their experiences and the challenges and opportunities they have faced in the different phases of the procurement process.
