Three members of Clean receive funding for international opportunities

Clean has awarded DKK 150,000 to three companies to develop and expand international partnerships.

Through the Danish Water and Environment Cluster, Danish companies can receive support to reach beyond national borders and create opportunities for their innovative solutions abroad. With funding from the Danish Business Promotion Board and the European Union, the companies LNH Water, PurFil, and EWA Sensors have been granted DKK 50,000 each to expand and showcase their solutions abroad.

The companies’ solutions

PurFil – Their solution “BIOPUR-Concept” is a closed system that can isolate and decompose organic by-products from agriculture and the food industry. With the funds from Clean, they will try to expand their market to Spain via Naturgy and their biogas plant.

LNH Water – With software solutions that can calculate water flows in urban environments and perform early warning, LNH Water will expand its expertise to the US market together with Ramboll. Their solution has already been tested in the city of Flensburg with great success; now it’s time for the US.

EWA Sensors – Their technology can improve machines’ energy consumption and overall health through their sensor. With much experience and knowledge, EWA Sensors will go to Germany and establish contact with Siemens and other significant actors in the German market.

Funding boosts the companies and is, for some, the start of an exciting development that can strengthen Danish water and environmental technology internationally in the near future.

The partnerships are co-financed by The Danish Board of Business Development, The European Union, and The Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science.
