SmartBrøndCity
Challenge:
As wastewater companies have invested heavily in the planning, design, and construction of rainwater harvesting and retention systems, there was an increased focus on making these systems more efficient. Could it be collected from larger areas? Could full reservoirs be redirected to other sections, and could the water be used to irrigate the city’s green spaces?
Solution:
SmartBrønd ApS and Aagren Tech, together with the University of Copenhagen, investigated the possibility of logging water levels and flow in real-time to create a picture of the utilization rate of each system.
