Brazil-Denmark Water Network

The Brazil-Denmark Water Network is a dynamic initiative aimed at fostering strategic collaboration between Denmark and Brazil in the crucial domain of water management. The primary goals encompass fostering strategic water collaboration, ensuring that research and innovation efforts are channeled towards practical applications falling within the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3-7, and identifying funding opportunities to support robust international collaborations.

Leveraging Partnerships

The network leverages strategic partnerships with Clean and Greennova Hub, both members of the International Cleantech Network, serving as facilitators for the execution of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and the cultivation of impactful collaborations between Danish and Brazilian entities. These partnerships provide a solid foundation for cooperative efforts in addressing pressing water challenges and advancing sustainable solutions in both countries.

Strategic Collaboration

Through strategic collaboration, the Brazil-Denmark Water Network aims to address pressing water challenges while advancing sustainable solutions that benefit both nations. By fostering reciprocal delegations, international events, and innovative activities such as hackathons, project development workshops and science seminars, the network promotes collaboration and knowledge exchange.  

Sustainability and Funding

The network is committed to ensuring the sustainability of its efforts by fostering ongoing cooperation, establishing clear communication channels, and formalizing MoUs. Additionally, by identifying funding opportunities from programs like Horizon Europe, Innowide and Danida, the network aims to secure the necessary resources to support its collaborative endeavors and contribute to global water security.
