Water4All
Tackling Global Water Challenges
The Water4All Partnership is a groundbreaking funding initiative designed to enhance scientific research in freshwater, addressing urgent water challenges exacerbated by climate change.
The purpose of the Water4All Partnership, also known as “Water Security for the Planet,” is to tackle water challenges to face climate change, help achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, and boost the EU’s competitiveness and growth.
Cleans role
Clean plays a vital role in this partnership, connecting the Danish ecosystem to the program’s activities, focusing on supporting start-ups and SMEs, and driving internationalisation of the Danish water sector. As well as being an active member of the Governing Board of the Water4All Parntership representing the cluster perspective.
Clean’s role involves contributing to Internationalisation and the Science–Policy–End-Users Interface, specifically:
- Attracting new partners to create the necessary critical mass for developing innovative solutions and increasing their implementation.
- Reducing existing barriers for engaging international parties in Water4All’s activities.
- Providing innovative solutions to end-users outside of Europe to tackle global water-related issues.
- Enhanced systemic innovation transfer to economic sectors by bringing together solution providers and problem owners.
- A more effective development of innovative start-ups and SMEs in the water sector.
Water4All is supported by over 90 partners from 33 countries, making it a truly collaborative effort to tackle global water challenges. These partners bring an extensive network of expertise and resources, contributing to the success of the initiative.
