New relationships, concrete collaboration opportunities and a stronger network between Denmark and Brazil. These were among the outcomes when seven Danish companies joined Innovation Camp Salvador with Clean. The delegation gave participants direct access to local decision-makers, organisations and potential partners working within water, environmental technology and sustainable tourism.
Danish companies closer to the Brazilian market
Brazil holds significant potential for Danish water and environmental technology solutions, but succeeding in the market requires more than strong products. Relationships, local insight and the right connections are essential.
That is why Clean brought together a Danish business delegation for Innovation Camp Salvador, where participating companies met with Brazilian authorities, businesses and organisations to explore opportunities for collaboration and green innovation.
The delegation consisted of:
- 42 Organic
- All In On Green
- Transform af 1994 ApS – Danish Rootzone Technology
- Leapcraft
- New Loop
- ReefCircular
- VerdantFlow Tech
Building relationships that create opportunities

For Amin Barrada, founder of 42 Organic, the visit became much more than a business trip. Shortly after returning to Denmark, he had already followed up with several potential partners and helped connect a Brazilian organisation with a Danish NGO.
“The trip became incredibly valuable, both professionally and personally. I returned home with new relationships, concrete discussions, potential partners and a much stronger understanding of the opportunities that exist between Denmark and Brazil.”
Amin Barrada, 42 Organic
For him, the close interaction with local stakeholders made all the difference.
“Clean created a framework where we were not just introduced to a market—we got close to people, decision-makers, local initiatives and potential partners. That made a huge difference.”

Danish solutions addressing local challenges
The participating companies represented a broad range of Danish solutions within water, circular economy, nature-based solutions and sustainable tourism. During the visit, discussions covered everything from river waste collection and decentralised wastewater treatment to digital solutions that encourage more sustainable choices among tourists.
Innovation Camp Salvador gave the companies the opportunity to present their solutions directly to Brazilian stakeholders while gaining a deeper understanding of local needs and opportunities.
A symbol of a growing partnership

One of the most memorable moments of the visit was the planting of a Danish tree in Salvador. The initiative emerged during the programme and became a symbol of the relationships established between Danish and Brazilian partners.
For the participating companies, the tree represents the beginning of collaborations that can continue to grow through joint projects, knowledge sharing and green innovation.
The beginning of new collaborations
Innovation Camp Salvador forms part of Clean’s efforts to create international opportunities for Danish companies within water and environmental technology. The delegation has already led to new dialogues and concrete follow-up activities, and several participants expect to continue developing partnerships with their Brazilian contacts.
After returning home, several participants shared their experiences with Clean. For Amin Barrada of 42 Organic, the trip demonstrated the value of entering a new market through local relationships rather than traditional sales approaches.
From Brazil to the local headlines
Innovation Camp Salvador not only created new connections between Danish and Brazilian stakeholders. The delegation also attracted attention in Denmark, where Viborg Folkeblad highlighted the participation of local companies All In On Green and 42 Organic and their ambitions to bring Danish green solutions to Brazil.
The article highlights the potential of Danish solutions within river waste collection, decentralised wastewater treatment and sustainable tourism, while underlining the importance of the relationships established during the visit. It demonstrates how international collaboration not only opens doors to new markets but also raises awareness of Danish green innovation at home.
