Clean and Water Valley Denmark has signed a strategic cooperation agreement to strengthen Denmark’s position as a world leader in water technology. The agreement, signed on December 16th, marks the continued development of the two organizations’ already close collaboration.
Purpose of the partnership
The collaboration between Clean and WVDK aims to realize the water industry’s grand visions and ambitions, as expressed in the Business Lighthouse for Water Technology and the Export Strategy for Water. Water technology has enormous potential, and the collaboration will help realize this potential through increased innovation, internationalization, and export.

Innovation partnerships and entrepreneurship
Water companies are very interested in engaging in innovation collaborations. Clean and WVDK will work to increase the visibility of funding opportunities and ensure that the best innovation collaborations are initiated. The partnership will also focus on supporting entrepreneurs, startups, and scaleups through initiatives such as the Beyond Beta project and a mentor corps for water technology startups.
Internationalization and export
Clean and WVDK both have a strong focus on internationalization and export. They will coordinate their international efforts to promote Danish water solutions globally. Both organizations have international activities and bilateral partners. The collaboration will thereby ensure that Danish water companies get the most out of these activities.

The partnership between Clean and WVDK will also include research, testing, and demonstration of new water technologies. Both organizations work at the intersection of research and business and want to create a long-term foundation for innovation and growth in the water sector.
