British Water and Clean join forces to strengthen water sector collaboration
British Water and Clean – The Danish Water and Environment Cluster have formalised a new partnership through a Memorandum of Action (MoA), marking a milestone in strengthening collaboration, innovation, and market opportunities between the UK and Nordic water sectors.
Through this new partnership, British Water and Clean aim to accelerate knowledge exchange and business development across the water and cleantech industries. The collaboration will:
-
Facilitate B2B connections, pilot projects, and innovation partnerships
-
Support member organisations in accessing new markets and funding opportunities
-
Promote sustainable water and cleantech innovation globally
By combining the strengths of two leading industry networks, the partnership creates new opportunities for the ecosystem to collaborate on projects that drive digitalisation, circular water management, and climate resilience.
Strengthening ties between UK and nordic innovators
Beverley Ferrara, Business Development – Europe at British Water, commented:
“This partnership builds on a strong foundation of trust and shared purpose. Clean is a leading force in water and cleantech innovation, and we’re delighted to be strengthening ties between our two networks. Together, we can help members connect, share expertise, and open doors to new opportunities across the UK and the Nordic region.”
Scott Grønnegaard Allison, Head of Water at Clean, added:
“Many of our members have a growing interest in the UK market and have been actively engaging within the region. Partnering with British Water will help us connect Danish and UK innovators, support new collaborations, enhance knowledge exchange, and accelerate sustainable water and environmental solutions.”
A platform for global collaboration
Both organisations view this partnership as a catalyst for long-term cooperation, creating a strong platform for knowledge sharing, international partnerships, and sustainable innovation across the global water sector.
