Expand your business horizons at E-world Energy & Water 2026
Clean invites Danish SMEs to take part in E-world Energy & Water 2026, taking place from 10–12 February 2026 in Essen, Germany – Europe’s leading trade fair for the energy and water industries.
E-world is the meeting place for the global energy and water sectors, gathering more than 980 exhibitors and 33,000 visitors from across the world. It connects companies working in water management, wastewater treatment, energy efficiency, digitalization, mobility, and sustainability, driving forward the integrated energy and water systems of the future.
Through this open call, Clean offers support to help Danish SMEs explore new markets, establish partnerships, and showcase their innovations internationally.
Target group
The call is open to Danish SMEs working within:
- Cleantech and green technologies
- Water technology, water supply and wastewater treatment
- Sustainable infrastructure, smart cities and mobility
- Digital solutions for energy and water systems

Participation/ticket fees for the fair are already covered by Clean, meaning companies can focus their funding solely on travel and subsistence costs.
Participation terms
- Open to all Danish SMEs working within cleantech, water technology, or sustainability.
- Support will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis within the SMEBeyond project’s funding limits.
- Selected participants must sign and submit a written agreement document and a state aid form (GBER) before the event to formalize their participation and reimbursement eligibility (templates will be provided after the selection of the company).
- Reimbursement will be processed after the event upon submission of all relevant documentation.
About the project
This initiative is part of the SMEBeyond – South Baltic SMEs Advancing Beyond Borders project. SMEBeyond is co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg South Baltic Programme 2021–2027. All terms and reimbursements are granted under Interreg South Baltic regulations.
