28. MAR–24. APR 2026

Location

Online

Deadline: 24. april.

Do you want to explore new innovation opportunities in the Brazilian market?
Going global is key to growth – and strong local partnerships are essential for success in Brazil. Therefore, Clean, GreenNova Hub and international partners have joined forces to give your SME the best possible starting point for initiating innovation activities in Brazil.

This is done in the context of SITUS 2026 (4th International Sustainable Tourism Seminar) – an international event in Salvador (June 9–10, 2026) that brings together tourism destinations, public authorities, companies, and investors to develop concrete solutions and partnerships for sustainable tourism.

Get up to DKK 40,000 for activities in Brazil

Clean offers up to DKK 40,000 in funding to SMEs that wish to initiate innovation activities in Brazil by participating in Innovation Camp Salvador and SITUS 2026 (June 8–12, 2026).

The funding covers working hours related to participation – including preparation, participation and follow-up. The Innovation Camp programme is developed in collaboration with local partners and is based on concrete challenges in Salvador.

By combining Clean’s financial support with the Innovation Camp, you will have the opportunity to invest the necessary time and resources to develop concrete innovation projects in collaboration with local stakeholders in Brazil – projects that can open doors to future partnerships, customers and activities.

The funding can be used for the following types of activities

  • Preparation for international activities and market exploration in Brazil
  • Participation in Innovation Camp Salvador and SITUS 2026
  • Follow-up activities and partnership development in Brazil

Please note: The funding can only be used for salary costs for Danish SMEs.
Participation in Innovation Camp Salvador and SITUS 2026 (June 8–12, 2026) is mandatory.
The participation fee for the Innovation Camp is approximately DKK 10,000.

Eligibility criteria

  • The applicant must be a Danish SME (1–249 employees)
  • Participation in Innovation Camp Salvador and SITUS 2026
  • Available funding: up to DKK 40,000
  • The project/activity must be completed no later than December 31, 2026
  • The activity must fall within Clean’s five focus areas (water, emissions, biodiversity, climate adaptation, waste & resources)

Evaluation criteria

  • Relevance to identified challenges in Salvador
  • Potential for development of innovation projects
  • Alignment with Clean’s priorities and focus areas
  • Strategic value of international collaboration

The challenges in Salvador have been defined with local partners, including public authorities and tourism actors. They broadly relate to sustainable tourism, with concrete opportunities in circular economy, water management, and climate-related solutions.

This could include, for example:

  • Water and waste management
  • Circular systems (e.g. reusable packaging)
  • Digital tools for tourism and infrastructure
  • Coastal resilience and biodiversity
  • Solutions for hotels, restaurants, sports facilities, and destinations

We are particularly looking for SMEs with ready-to-deploy or adaptable solutions – ranging from system-level innovations to practical applications. We welcome both city-scale solutions and business-level applications, and encourage you to apply if you see a potential fit.

In short: if you are working in this space, your solution is likely relevant – even in ways we may not have identified yet.

Application deadline: April 20, 2026
Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis.
