PFAS Network for Companies Operating in Denmark

Navigate PFAS regulation with the right partners

PFAS is quickly becoming a critical issue for companies operating in Denmark and across the EU. New and upcoming regulations, combined with increasing market demands, make it essential to understand where PFAS is used—and how to phase it out safely.

The Danish EPA’s PFAS Partnership with Industry, operated by the Danish Technological Institute, brings companies together to address these challenges through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and practical tools.

The partnership provides a structured framework for companies to systematically work with PFAS across products, processes, and supply chains—and to gain access to relevant expertise and industry peers.

Clean is a partner in the network and contributes to knowledge sharing and cross-sector collaboration.

Why join the PFAS network?

PFAS challenges are complex and often difficult to solve alone—especially when they involve supply chains, compliance, and material performance.

Through the network, you get:

  • A trusted entry point to the national PFAS partnership
  • Access to relevant knowledge and key stakeholders
  • Opportunities for collaboration across industries
  • Support in navigating regulations and business implications

We focus on making PFAS work actionable—so you can move from uncertainty to informed decisions.

What is the PFAS Partnership?

The Danish EPA’s PFAS Partnership with Industry is a national initiative supporting companies in reducing and phasing out PFAS in products, processes, and supply chains.

The partnership is part of Denmark’s national PFAS action plan and is designed to help companies:

  • Identify where PFAS is present
  • Assess risks and regulatory exposure
  • Explore and test alternatives
  • Transition without compromising performance or competitiveness

The partnership is operated by the Danish Technological Institute in collaboration with Danish industry organisations and knowledge partners.

What you gain as a company

By participating in the PFAS Partnership, you gain access to:

  • Workshops and knowledge sharing on PFAS in products and processes
  • Practical tools and guidance for supplier dialogue, impact assessments, and communication
  • Access to experts and testing environments
  • Taskforces and networks addressing key challenges such as substitution, regulation, and waste handling

Participation helps you move faster, reduce risks, and avoid costly mistakes.

Who is it relevant for?

The network is relevant for companies operating in Denmark across sectors.

It is particularly relevant if your company:

  • Works with products, materials, or components
  • Has complex or international supply chains
  • Is affected by current or upcoming PFAS regulation
  • Needs better insight into PFAS risks and alternatives

PFAS is often embedded in supplied components—making this a shared challenge across industries.

How to get involved

Participation in the PFAS Partnership is free.

  • Two physical meetings per year
  • Two online meetings per year
  • Optional participation in thematic task forces

You decide your level of engagement.
